My brain would get stuck on a torturous loop, ruminating over bad memories or worrying about potential future tragedies. The anxiety was so debilitating I couldn’t function or even construct a sentence. It led me to the lowest lows I’ve ever experienced—including two times I’ve never shared publicly that left me in a psychiatric hospital (which forever shaped my insight into the flaws of our mental health and medical systems), and another where a friend literally pulled me back from the edge of a cliff in Gracetown, WA.

I share this now because I believe all of my unique experiences and some of the worst pain i have felt, have led to my life’s purpose: to empower people to unlock their potential and their ikigai through health, and to pay that forward to break this generational disease and disconnection.
